Nearly Lost

This photo nearly got deleted because I didn't like it at first. But, I'm a big believer in second chances. After a little curves adjustment to make the colors pop, I'm thriled that I took both a vertical and horizontal image.

This was the basketball rack that was on the court between the JV and Varsity girls basketball games the other night. Lots of great action coming!

No Chill-axin here!

Some die-hard Steelers fans had a few tense moments, but ended the night on a festive note.

I really don't have an allegiance to either team, so I didn't care much about the outcome. Mostly I watch the Super Bowl for the commercials and cheer for the Clydesdales, but my friends were there so I ended up talking and missed them all. DRAT -- Still a nice way to spend an evening.

Hey -- whose feet are those anyway?

A sculpture at United Nations -- The UN was closed, either because it was a Sunday or a holiday week. Just peeked through the fence to see this one.

There has to be something pithy to say about a bucket full of well-used baseballs, but I don't know what it would be. Maybe it's just late and my brain is turned off. Still, I love this shot for a computer wallpaper or background art.

Down . . . Set . . .

Saturday night's football game. For my first nighttime game on the sidelines, I have decided that my best photos came BETWEEN big action plays. Still, I loved the repetitive pattern of all those helmets and young muscular arms. I'm scrambling to get other shots from the game posted soon. Go 'Stangs!
